A parasol only requires a minimum of care and maintenance. When your parasol is not in use, keep it drily and with good ventilation. We recommend that you use a cover for the parasol when it is folded up and not in use. You can buy the cover where you bought your parasol, if it is not automatically included – which is the case for most parasols from Hoffmann by Da’core.
If your parasol has got a stain or a “greeting” from one of the many birds in summer, you can remove small stains with mild soap and lukewarm water.

As your Da’core parasol can be left outside the whole season, you need not take or pack your parasol away in the evening. But no doubt, a cover will prolong the lifetime of your parasol. If your parasol is outside the whole season, you need to know that a colour variation may appear in the fabric as, obviously, it will be exposed to intense sun, dew, rain, as well as wind.
When the season is over, you wash the parasol stick and foot in fresh water and let it all dry thoroughly before you pack the parasol away in a dry place for the winter
